Director of Component Design

After moving to Florida, I started my component design career at A-1 Truss. During my 5 years there, I helped create a truss design training program for new designers. I specialized in training new designers, as well as custom truss designs in Southeast Florida.

After that, I moved on to Trussway, where I spent the next 5 years honing my craft in multi-family component design. 

I came to Apex Technology in January 2016. Since joining Apex, I have significantly increased my knowledge of component design. One thing that makes Apex vastly different than other component companies is getting to work as part of a team to create base plan designs in tandem with the Architectural, Structural & Mechanical teams. This has allowed me to grow my overall knowledge of whole house design, as well as understanding how component design affects other trades, and vice-versa. I recently took on the role of Component Design Manager of the Port St. Lucie office. I am enjoying growing into my new role and the challenges it brings.
