Career Story
After earning an engineering degree at the University of Florida, I took a job with a small engineering firm of 8 in Jacksonville Beach, FL. Over 2 decades later, I operate as the president of the same firm, having grown it to nearly 75 employees over 5 divisions. We provide multi-discipline architectural engineering services in 23 states.
My focus in recent years has been collaborative design process and data-driven workflows The amount of product and process waste in our industry is staggering. With a relational design approach between owners, designers and subcontractors, I believe we can collaborate and complete designs faster. These same designs, having been developed in a collaborative fashion, are optimized to best practice and material usage prior to going to bid. The result is efficiency across the design, bid and build process.
Personal Touch
Family is first and we enjoy the fruits of our labor. Whether it be youth athletics with my two boys, a weekend cookout with the neighbors or fishing in the Keys, we like to have fun. Exercise and activity keep me sharp and energetic. In recent years, I have become the primary cook in the house and enjoy some great food!
